Quarry Park is a new community and as such is very small. In 2012 alone there were only two homes sold in Quarry Park, however dozens of homes are now selling per week. Condominiums and townhomes are the most popular style of dwelling in the area, and they range from $400,000 to $1,000,000.

Transit
Routes 24, 36, 41, 75, 136 and 302 BRT run through Quarry Park, with six stops along the way. This is in addition to the LRT route to the west of the community, right outside of which is the SE LRT station. Concerns currently exist that Quarry Park is growing too quickly for the transit system to keep up.

Parks & Recreation
The center of Quarry Park is a market for dining, shopping and recreation in general. It is meant to be the hub of the entire community, a place bustling with life. Destinations include the Calgary Co-op, Colonial Restaurant, Market at Quarry Park and more.

The center of recreation in Quarry Park is the Quarry Park Recreation Facility, which houses everything needed for daytime fitness, evening leisure and even the Glenmore Square branch of the Calgary Public Library.
