Bel-Aire is a small and extremely affluent community in Southwest Calgary. Homes range from $1,500,000 to $5,000,000. Testament to this affluence is the fact that there are no low-income residents or renters in Bel-Aire, which can be found in many other wealthy areas of Calgary. Bel-Aire was established in 1960.

Bus route 3 serves the area. The nearest station is Heritage.

Parks & Recreation
There are no parks in Bel-Aire, only a large green space on a lake-like portion of the Elbow River. There is however also a small green space in the middle of the community.

Most of the shopping nearby is located at Chinook Centre, which has a variety of upscale shops ranging from Armani Exchange to Aritzia, Ricki's Canada, Suzy Shier, Zara Canada, Laura Petites, Le Chateau and more.
