Connaught is part of the Beltline region of Calgary, specifically the portion west of 4th Street West. Beltline is the area just south of downtown Calgary, from 14th Street to the west to 7th Street / Elbow River to the east. This makes the boundaries of Connaught 9th Avenue SW to the north, 17th Avenue SW to the south, 15th Street SW to the west and 4th Street to the east. Being so close to downtown, this community is very wealthily, with home prices ranging from $1,000,000 to $1,400,000 approximately.

Transit
Route 2 services Connaught, as well as the entire Beltline area. The CTrain runs nearly parallel to this route as well, largely along 17th Avenue SW.

Parks & Recreation
Connaught has a few small green spaces spread throughout the community, and just beyond 4th Street SW is Central Memorial Park.

Recreation in Connaught is all about downtown Calgary. Some of the favorite things to do include visiting Calgary Tower, the Devonian Gardens, the EPCOR Centre for the Performing Arts, the Glenbow Museum, Olympic Plaza and the pedestrians-only shopping area Stephen Avenue Walk.
