Established in 1957, the community of Mayfair is bordered by Bel-Aire to the north, to the west by the Glenmore Reservoir, by Elbow Drive to the east and by Glenmore Trail to the south. This community is the sister community to Bel-Aire, and both make up some of the priciest real estate in all of Calgary. Home prices range from $1.4M to $5M and can even go higher than that.

Transit
Bus route 3 serves the area with the nearest station being Heritage.

Parks & Recreation
Mayfair is located on a lake-like portion of the Elbow River, beside Glenmore Bridge Road SW. Although no parks are located within the community, there is little need due to the prime location of this real estate. Just north is the Calgary Golf & Country Club, which has proved a popular golfing spot for locals since 1911. As far as shopping, the Chinook Centre is a big mall right to the east of the community offering everything residents of Mayfair could want with 250+ stores. Many other affluent communities in Calgary are surrounded by many other communities, making the drive to the nearest shopping center moderate. This is just one advantage of living in Mayfair.
