Transit
Bus route 408 serves the Crestmont community; the route moves south off the Trans-Canada Highway and then through the neighborhood in an L-shape, with one stop at its northwestern corner.
Parks & Recreation
The amount of green space around Crestmont is staggering … nearly as much as developed land itself. This is, in fact, what rural homeowners are looking for, of course. Shortly east down the Trans-Canada Highway is the Canada Olympic Park, which hosted the 1988 Winter Olympics. To the west is Calaway Park, Western Canada's largest outdoor family amusement park -- truly an attraction other communities in Calgary can not offer. Crestmont residents, however, interested in shopping need to drive further east into town as there are no substantial shopping centres surrounding the community.
