After graduating from the University of Regina with a BA in Economics, I moved to Calgary to work for one of those large companies that make you feel like a number.....and not much else. The corporate experience was eye-opening, and helped me hone some skills that have translated well to real estate, but my entrepreneurial spirit needed some attention.
I became a licensed REALTOR® in 2005, and have had numerous roles in this industry since that time. I’ve run my business as a single agent, I’ve run a team of 5 agents, and I am now part owner of RE/MAX First. Throughout these roles, I have had the privilege of working with some of the most amazing people I have ever met, and I am thankful for the repeat business and referrals that drive my business.
This industry has been good to my family and I, so I have attempted to ‘give back’. My volunteer experience has included serving on numerous local, provincial, and national committees, as well as board work, and donating time to raising money for Children’s Miracle Network. In 2016 I had the honour of serving as President of the Calgary Real Estate Board (CREB®), and in 2021, I had an additional honour in serving as Chair of the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA). I’m very thankful for both of these experiences, and they have helped me become a better leader, brokerage owner, and REALTOR®.
I currently reside in Calgary with my wife and 2 children, and I have a passion for golf, volleyball, and travel.
